Get Your Kicks.

Route 66 is the best known American Road-Trip route. Not many people know where to stop along the way. We have some the best places to see on your journey.

Dixie Truckers Home, McClean, Ill.
Enjoy something to eat and a place to rest at one of America's oldest truck stops.

Cozy Dog Drive In, Springfield, Ill.

This place has great corn dogs. The first Cozy Dog was served at the Illinois State Fair in 1946.

Chain of Rocks Bridge, St. Louis, Mo.
"This Route 66 landmark takes a 30-degree turn at its midsection. "
This bridge was closed in 1968 and reopened for pedestrians and backs in 1999.

4 Women on the Route, Galena, Kan."Here you’ll find the restored Kan-O-Tex Service Station, a snack bar and the 1951 International Boom Truck that, according to its owners, served as inspiration for Tow Mater in Pixar’s animated movie “Cars.”"

Wigwam Motels, Holbrook, Ariz., and Rialto/San Bernardino, Calif.

"They contain all of the amenities of a regular hotel room, except you have the added bragging rights of saying you slept in a teepee on your journey westward! "

 Santa Monica Pier, Calif.
"Here, amongst local surfers and throngs of international tourists, you can unwind and enjoy everything from arcade games, amusement park rides like the famous Ferris wheel, and even a trapeze school."

There's no better way to travel than in a Lexus. Take a look at Lexus of Westminster's inventory.
